UCB Bioproducts:
The Belgian company, UCB Bioproducts S.A., a biotech that specializes in all phases of custom peptide design, development, and manufacture asked us to help them brand their unique set of development services. In the process, we also upgraded their corporate tagline.
The original tag read "Fulfilling the Promise of Peptides." We thought the tag fit, but it lacked energy and a sense of action. By changing just one word, however, we got what we all wanted. "Delivering the Promise of Peptides" reflected well on their established reputation for getting the best product to the client's market in the shortest possible time. As well, getting rid of the softer, less definite sounds of the F's and L's in the original lead word strengthened the entire phrase and provided a feeling of effectiveness and power.
